scroll_to_view

scroll_to_view($start,$smooth=false); - scroll the page using Java Script so that the element is visible (available from version 4.6.30)

The function accepts parameters as input:

  • $start - which side of the page the element will be visible from (boolean). 1- true will be visible at the top of the page, 0 - false at the bottom, 2 - center, 3 - closest.
  • $smooth - whether the scroll is smooth or not. Not smooth by default.

    After the function returns the result of their work in the script (the return value type is boolean):
  • true – executed successfully
  • false to find this element failed (e.g. no items that meet the specified criteria or not this frame)

    PHP example:

    <?php $xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7020";

    //connect the object to control the emulator, if not already connected
    if(!isset($path))
      $path = "../../../Templates/xweb_human_emulator.php";
    require($path);

    //Start
    echo "<hr> <font color = blue> interface->".basename(__FILE__)."</font> <hr>";

    //set the browser height
    $browser->set_height(200);

    //1
    echo "1.Let's go to the polygon:";
    echo $browser->navigate("http://humanemulator.net/poligon/anchor.html")."<br>";

    //2
    echo "2.Move the element with the given id to the area of view(bottom):";
    echo $anchor->get_by_id("list")->scroll_to_view(0)."<br>";

    sleep(2);

    //3
    echo "3.Move the element with the specified id to the scope(top):";
    echo $anchor->get_by_id("list")->scroll_to_view(1)."<br>";

    sleep(2);

    //3
    echo "3.Move the element with the specified id to the visibility area(center):";
    echo $anchor->get_by_id("list")->scroll_to_view(2, true)."<br>";

    //end
    echo "<hr> <br>";

    //Quit
    $app->quit();
    ?>

    Python example:

    # Additional paths
    import sys
    sys.path.insert(0, '../../../Templates PY/')

    xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7010"
    from xweb_human_emulator import *

    # Start
    echo("<hr> <font color = blue> interface.xxxxxxxxx </font> <hr>")

    # set the browser height
    browser.set_height(100)
